The 31-year-old dismissed Travis Head caught at mid-wicket in the second session on Day 4 of the fourth Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
India’s fast bowling lynchpin Bumrah also became the joint second-fastest Indian bowler to pick up 200 wickets in Tests.

With respect to the number of balls bowled, Bumrah (8484 balls) is the fourth-quickest in Tests after Waqar Younis (7725), Dale Steyn (7848), and Kagiso Rabada (8153) to reach the 200-wicket club.
Bumrah, however, did not stop at 200, and got rid of Mitchell Marsh and Alex Carey in the next two overs to break into Australia’s tail, giving India enormous hope to go onto win the Melbourne Test.
