MANILA, Philippines — The eighth most wanted fugitive in northern Metro Manila was arrested by police officers on Friday afternoon.
Northern Police District director Col. Josefino Ligan did not disclose the suspect’s identity. The fugitive is wanted for rape.
The police official reported that the suspect was apprehended along Don Basilio Bautista Boulevard in Brgy. Dampalit at around 2:50 p.m.
Police officers served a warrant of arrest without bail issued by the Malabon Regional Trial Court Branch 291.
The suspect was brought to a hospital for medical examination before he was turned over to the Malabon police station’s custodial facility.
They are also joined by Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales Jr.bighit777, Deputy Speaker David “Jay-jay” Suarez and Committee on Transportation chair Romeo Acop.
